I love to read and I love to find books that just capture you.
Recently, there have been a few books that I couldn’t put down. My schedule is already pretty crazy, but reading can really calm me down. My bookshelf is full of books that I recently read and I love to give them out to people who come to visit.
Yes, my bookshelf is full of skulls as well…did I not mention that I have a skull obsession? Maybe I will save that for a different post.
Anyways, here are three of my favorite books from the last year!
Before I even finished the book, I had already declared this my favorite book of all time. It’s a true story about a man who lost his family when he was a child and his search to find them again. I immediately made Josh read this book after me and he agrees.
It is now a movie, called Lion, with Dev Patel in it…need I say more?
Maybe I am biased about this book because it takes places in Colorado, but I am pretty sure this is a great book. I stumbled upon this book at the airport and finished it before I landed (2.5hr flight). It is a quick read, but totally worth it.
This book really got to me, because I could really visualize the story. Emotionally, this book is a whirlwind and got my heart pumping! Every time I see a Saab driving by now, I can’t help but smile.

Happy reading!
