My Search for the Best Latte

I was going to write a blog post about me organizing my closet, but then I realized, I am probably not the best person to be giving advice. Seriously, all I do is get rid of everything, not really “organize”.

So, instead, I am going to talk about something I am more passionate about and something that I have really worked hard on…finding the best damn cup of coffee in San Francisco! Well, mainly, the best latte. Josh will have to give you a rundown of the best coffee.

I am also writing this in hopes that someone will help me in this quest!! Please leave recommendations below!!

Blue Bottle Coffee

Blue Bottle is well known and, if you are in the area, you’ve probably seen them in the Ferry Building or their first location in Oakland. They were actually the first latte that I have had that had a cute design in the foam!

Their lattes seem so simple, Josh and I have watched them intently to see what exactly they are doing that’s so different from what we make at home. Simply, it comes down to good ingredients and…whole milk!

Stumptown Coffee Roasters

Josh and I found Stumptown while we were in New York and I was floored. I still think it is the best coffee I have ever had. Since we had it on vacation, we figured it was a local thing until we discovered that they are actually from Oregon (uh, duh, Alex! Look at the cup!). And, while there aren’t any Stumptown locations in San Francisco, it turns out there are a few places that serve their coffee.

Home Cafe

I actually heard about Home Cafe from another blogger, Kate Ogata (whom I am in love with, FYI). So, naturally, I had to go check them out. I mean, look at that color!

While the cup was absolutely beautiful, the lattes do have a lot of sugar. So, if sugar ain’t yo thang, you might want to look elsewhere. However, it is still quite the experience to go there, everyone is trying to take the perfect photo for their Instagrams!

Again, let me know if you have any recommendations!!
