5 Blogs/Instagrams to get Inspired by: Holiday Decor

All week I have been dreaming about going home and decorating my house for the holidays. Unfortunately, I have not had the time (damn you, holiday break, for making my work pile up!). So I have been fantasizing about my decorations by getting some inspiration from other blogs and Instagram accounts. Get ready to have your mind blown…

1. Somuchbetterwithage.com

Jaime has such beautiful images of her french vintage decor, it makes me drool a little bit. Not only that, a lot of her work is DIY and she has lots of free printables!! Be sure to check out her DIY Evergreen Wreaths and Fabric Banners (with free printables).

2. Sanctuaryhomedecor.com

Karen does exactly what her blog title says, she turns a home into a sanctuary. I love the simplicity and warmth that she brings to her home and glad she takes pictures to share with the rest of us! Her Fall Tablescape (with printables as well!) is beautiful and I can easily see myself transitioning that to a Christmas table setting as well.

3. @Cynthia_Harper_ on Instagram

I love the simplicity of Cynthia’s decor, with is exemplified in her mantle photo with her delicate wreaths. What’s even better about her Instagram account is that she is constantly recognizing other people’s work so you can find others with a similar style. Recently, she posted a picture of her kitchen (picture below) with a Christmas tree wall hanging from Alicia (@thedancingtapestry). I don’t know about you, but I am definitely getting ahold of one! You can find them on Thedancingtapestry.etsy.com starting at $68.

4. @Freshstartfarmhouuse on Instagram

Liana recently posted a photo with “Oh Holy Night” scroll by @cottonwoodshanty in her dining room and it looks amazing. Holiday music can get anyone in the mood! I also love how she used her candle holders for small Christmas trees.

5. @Patticakewagner on Instagram

Patti makes me want to move to Minneapolis. Can you blame me? The pictures she takes of homes are incredible and I am very envious. Her recent posts around her gorgeous home also have me ready for the holidays!
